Things to do Inside Yazd
Exploring the narrow streets of the old town is undoubtedly the most authentic way to acquaint yourself with Yazd. Begin your journey at Masjed Jaameh, and then follow the path towards the Fahadan district, where you can discover Alexander's Prison and the Lariha House Museum, among other architectural marvels.
For a glimpse of Yazd's rich Zoroastrian heritage, head to the Fire Temple & Markar Museum. You'll be awed by the exquisite brickwork that characterizes these exceptional examples of Zoroastrian architecture.
When you visit Mir Chakhmaq Square, which is just a 5-minute walk from Lari House, don't forget to treat yourself to the delicious sweet delicacies of Haj Khalifeh Ali Rahbar. While there, you can also explore the complex underground layout of the Water Museum. The Bazaar that runs along both sides of Qiyam street is full of surprises, with each entrance leading to a specific type of merchandise. The Khan Square is a forgotten gem in the heart of the bazaar, surrounded by countless artisanal coppersmith and spice shops.
No trip to Yazd would be complete without a visit to the Dowlat-Abad Garden, which is a mere 10-minute drive from Lari House. Additionally, a short drive from the city center will take you to the impressive Towers of Silence, another must-see site in Yazd.

Fahraj village, with its array of historic buildings, including an ancient Fire Temple transformed into the Fahraj Mosque, is a must-see destination. On your return journey, take a detour to Taft Village to relish a leisurely stroll through its pomegranate gardens, and treat yourself to tea or food at the renowned Sadri Garden.
